just curious
do have "auto enable mass storage mode when connected" to: Prompt? (in options > memory)
it is set to prompt. also tried automatic, nethier works
I'm having a little trouble understanding your issue.
Is your device not being recognized on your pc? Or are you just not getting the prompt you used to get when you connected it via USB?
Make sure your phone isn't locked when connecting it to the computer. i have to manually unlock my phone in order to get the prompt to show up when I connect.
If the drives are not showing up on your pc when you connect your storm, then its possible you need to reinstall the drivers. http://forums.crackberry.com/f86/can...-my-pc-103997/ see post #2.
Hope this helps. if not, post back here and hopefully someone will be able to figure out what is going on.
I am not getting the prompt on the BB so the device is not picked up by my PC.
But it is picked up with Device Manager and can sync and do application bits and bobs.
Hi,
I am having the same issue with my Curve. Im using Mac OS 10.5 with Mark Space desktop software that connects and loads contacts and calender just fine. However the Media card is not displaying on screen, I have checked the settings the and all are set correct. I was previously using a BOLD that had no issue with MSM so a little confused why issue with the Curve.
Thanks

Have you got a firewall running on your computer? That may be creating some sort of conflict.
Hope this was helpful.
Same thing happened to me. It changed my auto enable setting. I set it back to auto but I forgot to save setting. went back set auto enable and saved then it worked fine.
Well nothing i do on the PC makes any difference.
Not sure if its the device as not getting the prompt to ,select mass storage or not.
unplug and plugg back your phone. it should work after that
i wish it was that simple.
Hi guys,
I had the same problem with my storm replacement. I spent a little while googling on the net until I found this software. I tried it and it fixed the mass storage problem. Apparently it gets disabled internally on the phone and even a firmware change did not fix mine.
This did the trick, you will need to sign up to get the file though.

Use a Descriptive Title
This rule is simple; help us to help you. When you create your thread / post, think of it as if 'somone else' is reading it. With that in mind, make your subject lines related to the content of your post. Having a subject line of 'help' or 'now what', will not really help others later when they do a search for a particular issue. So, try to be a little more creative. Example: “My Pearl will not show myFaves icons” or “How do I use BB Maps on my 8100”
Hi Kar200
sounds like the same issue as this is on a replacement Storm, will give it ago.
thats done the trick, thanks
