Does everyone's USB wiggle freely when plugged in? Just want to make sure it isn't supposed to be a snug fit!

    Mine feels a bit wiggley.

On my old 8830we it was almost borke, but still works.

I would take it back to Verizon if you are that worried about it and have them look at it.

I had that problem last month, so i crossed out the variables and it was the cord itself. I got a new cord and it fit snug.

Mine's pretty snug too. I leave it plugged in on the console between the seats, and if the phone slides off at a stop light or around a corner I can use the cord to fish it back out from under the seat without worrying about it detaching.

Clearly it won't stay that way forever, since there must be mechanical wear on the sliding portion and there's no positive latch like my old Motorola. But after 3 months I'm not worried about it being loose yet.

If I am holding my phone horizontal, and tug up and down, it is pretty loose feeling, but the other way is snug

I went through 3 8830WE in a year due to faulty mini USB ports that eventually would not let me charge.

I find the micro usb on the Storms to be much better in terms of snugness and durability.
