perhaps it is the carriers that do not want a flash player made available.
having phone flash player would result in having to deliver quite a lot more data.

Yup, and surf a flash-heavy site on a WinMO phone, and you likely won't be wishing for a flash player on your Storm anymore. Especially considering how many sites are flash heavy. Let's just say, you'll be looking at the progress bar at the bottom of the screen for a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time. It takes awhile to download a 2MB app, imagine how long it would take to download a Flash app that was 6MB or so.

um about three times as long probably? so if i download a 2MB and have to wait 3 minutes, i'd have to find 9 minutes of spare time to download the flash app... i could prob manage that but thats just me
