my phone's lock key doesn't work. it's weird because the standy/mute key works. any help would be welcome.

So, did you try removing the top trim piece before this happened? 99% of the time when the lock key doesn't work its because the ribbon cable got torn due to an attempt to remove the top trim panel. If that's what happened you're SOL and it can't be fixed. Dowbload a third prty lock app and forget about it is all you can do...

My lock key works intermittently and I haven't tried to remove the trim piece. I am in the 11th month of the warranty, is this something they would replace under the warranty?

I am not sure I want to go through that since I can deal with the issue, but if the lock key goes out entirely that would be a different story.
