I am sure this has been posted sorry in advance. Tried searching but couldnt find anything (perhaps im just a noob afterall)

anyways trying to update to .148 , never had a problem in the past with other updates. HOwever, this time I am opening loader.exe and the blackberry will not be recognized. If i open up desktop manager its showing just fine connected via usb. Also the detect ports is greyed out and I cannot click it.

On vista if it makes a difference.

Anyone got any ideas?

What i did last night was delete loader.exe before i downloaded the new os. I missed out on .141 because of this issue

Thanks for the help guys. I used the guide that crucial posted. I manually went to the app loader. Looks like for some reason when i am using the lyridical shrink os the app loader isnt working for some reason. Ill try to update now and see what happens.
