Hello, just got a storm yesterday after having the curve for a while..
What I would like to know is how to get certain icons out of a folder
and in the top 8. For instance, Facebook is in the download file..how
do I move it??
Touch (not click) the Facebook application and it should be somewhat highlighted. Hit the BB button-->move to folder-->Home
That should put Facebook on your home screen. Now to move it in your top eight, touch the Facebook app again-->BB button-->move--> now click where you want to put it on your home screen.

Highlight, dont click, on the Facebook icon and then hit the Blackberry button. Choose "Move to Folder" and then choose the Homescreen from the list that pops up. The app has been moved. You can also rearrange where icons are in folders by highlighting > hitting BB button > "Move" and then place it where you want.
