Dropped my S2 last night and of course it landed perfectly on its face and cracked the digitizer. Phone still works fine for now as the cracking is localized to one part.
I was just going to replace the digitizer for $30 but keep reading not to since its a pain....is this true?
Also, if I order a whole new LCD/Digitizer unit I keep seeing different ones. Some reference it is the 002/111 screen and some say its only for GSM. Is there any way to know which one I need without pulling the LCD? Its a 9550 for Verizon.
Any other help is appreciated. No insurance on phone.
As far as I know noone had one for the CDMA version. I have looked for it for a while and the GSM version definitely does not work with urs. If u find it lemme know cuz I have one that is jus sitting as well.
I'm in the same situation. Does anyone have good instructions on replacing just the screen glass? I got mine for $30 but it doesn't have adhesive or instructions. I have the unit totally apart though.
