At random times (usually more than once a day) My keyboard starts to lag behind me as if it my BB is running slow. Does anyone know why this is. It is SO annoying!

Yea this is happening to me too, it is completley random. So far I wasn't able to find the source of the lagg thing, but I noticed that it is mostly happening when writing SMSes and making calendar entries. I also noticed that SMS and e-mail scrolling is kinda laggy, but don't know why.

Upgrade the OS to a hybrid or later leak. Later builds remove keyboard lag. I just typed this with popup keys on the speed of an average teenage txter with no keyboard lag whatsoever.

I get no lag while TYPING per se, but while changing from symb or alt to the KB or from KB to symb and alt I get a lag after about a day.

Some say it's related to deleting texts.... or not deleting texts.... Crazy....

Same here. I've tried every OS and several hybrids and have had random lags on all.

    Holding hope for OS 6!

.517 hybrid here (tried many of them). I seem to get keyboard lag after about a full day. I figured I wouldn't have to reboot this phone daily, like I do with my Bold. Guess I was wrong.

I get the lag, too... but I'm getting use to it for now--- until something better comes out.

Are all of you deleting your text messages on a regular basis?

If so, DON'T. Leave them and see if the lag doesn't go away.

Change your key rate to fast. But leave the last three settings stock
    400
    100
    6

Physical battery pull. And give it a go

Someone posted this the other day:

    under options
    memory/repair/device memory.

It only happens to me when the device has been running for a few days. This fixes me right up every time.

I get it much less on .607 than I did on .428. Its now very rare.

Don't take this the wrong way, that is a good possibility for a fix, but if it fixes it "everytime" is it really fixing it? It should have fixed it the first time and never needed it. Unless you are talking about using it only after changing an OS, then completely ignore my comment. lol

But, i came back to say WillyBoys .517/.676 hybrid is the best I have had yet for minimal lag. I recently switched back to my Bold, but I used that OS for a few days and never noticed any lag at all. Like i said earlier, i was getting lag after about 12hrs of uptime, if that on pretty much every other OS I tried, which was only .517 and a handful of hybrids based off .517.
