I didn't notice any difference between .109 and .114. I haven't had any problems at all besides having to do a manual Restore, but my wife had to do a manual Restore with .109. I have'nt tried using the dialpad while in a call, but I don't really care. I ain't foolin with it again until an official drops. But I can't say just because I don't have a problem that problems don't exist. .109 IMO is the best OS thus far and I don't think it's getting any better for a while. RIM is kinda busy. Between the 9630 launch, BES 5.0 and the App Store hands are tied.

I just upgraded .109 the day before the new beta OS. I'm staying with it for a month like I usually do. Then I'll probably upgrade to .114 right before the next beta OS comes out.

I started to join the upgrade madness. While it was downloading on my PC I took the time to read the comments. Usually there is always something negative but the moment I saw the phone dial pad problem I said no.

There should be an official release.....sometime.

I'll stay with 109 for now.

109 has treated me well also. .75 was a sheer disappointment. never bothered with any of the other leaks until .109 when i decided i just couldn't take the functionality of .75. I wanna dive into the 114/1113 hybrid but honestly I feel as if 9530 owners should have their official release and not have to mess with this beta OS stuff for a while. Just a thought. Guy can dream can't he?

The only difference is on .114 the switch from landscape to portrait and vie versa is sometimes slow. Which can be really annoying.

Went with .114 for about a day and couldn't wait to downgrade back to .109. Way too many problems and accelerometer was extremely slow. .109 by far is the best experience. This reminds me of Windows OS, come out with a good one then the next one is a POS. Lol.

Based on the initial findings threads, I kept w/.109, but downloaded .114 just in case. Went w/the .113/.114 hybrid earlier today & it went seamlessly. You get the positive additions of .114 without the bugs that brought the OS down for everyone...

How can you say its digression and be mad about it? Sometimes you have to take a step back to take two forward. That's why these are internal beta releases.

If you are using 109 instead of 75 then you can't say RIM isn't progressing. 109 is a great build, but there were a lot of bad builds in between in getting there. Just like in moving from 109 to GC will involve bad builds as well.

I am trying to find an OS that I can be happy with. I am on Rogers GSM and have problems with different leaked OS not connecting properly to EDGE. Only getting edge.

I am currently using the hybrid 106/103 with the .90 Radio files. But while it does connect to EDGE, it sometimes has issues on a reboot. And it also has crashed twice today alone.

So if I move to 109 will it work properly on EDGE.

Please advise.

Tonight I tried to upgrade to a modified114 OS, but after a couple of hours, it just wasn't as good as 109. First time I ever downgraded my OS. 114 is just not worth it, even if it is modded
