I am an avid skater and one day I was going off an 8 stair and completely ate ****. Unfortunately my blackberry storm just happened to fly out of my pocket as I took that fall. To my dismay, the phones screen displays nothing. I could take calls and hear my ringtone go off but the phone could not display anything. I thoroughly checked the screen for any cracks or breaks but from what I saw, the screen was perfectly fine.

Thankfully I am covered by Verizon insurance policy and I do fully understand that I have to pay a deductible fee for the broken phone. However the phones warranty sticker (the little red sticker that could be found when you take off the battery cover) has been removed due to curiosity on my part lol. My one question is, could I still file a claim of a broken phone even though the factory warranty sticker of the device has been removed?

You should be fine if you're going through insurance. As you said yourself it's a warranty sticker.
Btw, sorry to hear that happened to you. Good luck with your next Storm.
