This is an idea for you programmers, just jump on it.

When I have my desk all cleaned up with my iPod and Storm sitting neatly in their docks. Then all of a sudden the LED on my phone is blinking...

I want some type of notification software that would pop up on my monitor letting me know what it is (i.e. Email, text, and so on...) I am an apple user and there is this fantastic program called Growl (to give you an idea of what I am thinking of - Growl). This can be set up to alert you of a number of things from many different applications. I think it would be helpful not having to pull the phone from the dock.

Again, it was just a sudden light bulb over my head.... discuss.
