Just figured I'd chime in here and let everyone with a 9530 know that installing the java files from .109 does absolutely nothhing for your device. If you do not change the Platform then you change nothing and get none of the benefits of the new OS. Basically it's a waste of time.

Thanks for the info from the man himself. Now I can't waste my time and have to hit the refresh button every minute and hope for a 9530 leak....

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I will wait for a version for the 9530 to come out before I do any "upgrading".

I beg to differ. The hybrid .103/.106 was a major difference from .103 on my storm, and it was .106 java files on .103 platform. If i am wrong let me know. But i experienced a major difference.

That's hilarious, your saying that the whole .103 / .106 was nothing at all....

First off, considering you know nothing about .109, I'd say yeah. Considering I used this build weeks ago, I'd say yeah. Can you say placebo effect. .103 was a good build, and that's it. Using the .106 java files didn't really make a difference. But hey, I only work on and with these every day. I might not know what I'm talking about.
honestly crucial, this time i have a feeling you dont. speed on keyboard from .103 to .103/.106 hybrid is a world of a difference. I Ran .103 for a week then updated to .103/.106 hybrid, trust me bro there is a difference, and plenty of ppl can agree with that, regardless of what your saying. Oh and everyone else plays with their storm all day too =P

How long have yo had your Storm? I've been using mine since July of 08. But again, as long as you're happy. I'm using .120 and I'm very very happy.
Thanks for the info CX, will be funny to see all the people saying it made a uge difference... i did find it curious that people werent saying there was a huge difference in functionality in between.103 and .103/.106 hybrid
