How's it going everyone? I always thought of myself, at least, an intermediate-advanced blackberry user so I never really posted in the forums. Just kind of trolled around but now that I picked up my 9530, I feel you're going to see a lot more posts from me.

Here's what's going on, I have a 9530 unlocked on the T-Mobile Network. I used the crack util to install T-Mo's service books. The browser, and e-mail work well but my MMS doesn't. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on that issue?

I have been in the wireless business for some time so a spontaneous reset or crash is not new to me nor does it bug me, but this phone consistently does it 7-10 times a day. I originally upgraded the OS to the Telus official release but my EDGE signal fell off so I went back to VZW's .75 and it still does crashes 4-6 times per day. Are there any other tips anyone can give me so my phone doesn't crash so much or can I pretty much expect this kind of performance from my Storm?

Thanks in advance for the responses I'm sure I'll get. I look forward to getting to know the community better.

For the MMS fix, try the suggestion in this thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/tmobile-mms-fix-33956/

As for your OS, you may want to take a look a .132. I have been running it for a couple weeks now, and it is quite solid. you can find links to all the Storm OSes here: http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/al...-betas-123176/

Looks like the solution is a resounding UPGRADE MY OS lol. Thanks for the warm welcomes and the tips. Like I said as soon as I got my hands on it I upgraded to the .122 and boy was that terrible. I was weary of trying a beta but now I think I'll give .132 a shot. If that doesn't work, I'll go hybrid.

@michaelwpg - as soon as my post count allows it, I'll hit you up if I need a hand. Thanks.

So I upgraded to .132 and as a phone, impeccable. But EDGE drops off every time I try to surf the web. Do I have to run the crack util again or am I missing something?
