iPhone in a heartbeat. The new OS coming out this summer finally includes all the things that Apple stupidly left out. If AT&T didn't have such horrible service in my area I would have switched a long time ago. But they don't and I'm on Verizon for the foreseeable future.
Current iPhone or the next version? Current iPhone there's no doubt I'd take the Storm 2 over it. Actually, I'd rather have the Storm 1 than the current iPhone. But, next generation of the iPhone? I don't know and I'm not going to worry about that decision until Verizon has both and I can compare them side by side in whatever their current versions are at that time. Seems kind of silly to compare the Storm 2 (which we don't even have full details on) with an Apple phone that we won't see until at least next year and have absolutely NO information on.
If the new Iphone is able to multitask i def getting it... Verizon and blackberry didn't stand behind the first storm, why would they stand behind the next... i like the features of the blackberry but i need a stable phone not a choppy one.. as good as verizon's service is im willing to pay to leave it because of the iphone
iPhone. I had the iPhone for about 9 months before my job gave me a storm and i dumped the iPhone because i didn't want to pay for it if my job was going to pay for a blackberry. I've had the storm since it came out. As we all know it is a POS. While the iPhone is far from perfect, it is far better than the storm. The iPhone's browser, alone, beats the h&ll out of anything RIM has ever made.
Don't bash the iPhone until you have used one for an extended period of time. Looking at your friend's/wife's/girlfriend's/boyfriend's iPhone doesn't count. You don't get the real experience until you've relied on one day in and day out.
I would definitely take the iphone. I actually kind of surprised how many people are already saying they want the storm 2. What makes anybody think the software will be any better on the second one?
