I am currently using FlyCast, which looks just like an iphone application. Can I download other iphone applications and run them on storm as long as I adjust the setting to allow old files?

Huh? Two completely different platforms. You can't run iPhone apps on a Storm or vice-versa.

Right, but he's suggesting that he could install the Super Monkey Ball app he has for his iPhone on his Storm. The answer to that is an absolute no.
Now if the Sega made a Storm version....
Google has many, many different versions of their apps for all different platforms. There isn't 1 google maps that works across all mobile devices.
