is there a way to get internet from your computer to the storm. I have tethering set up so i can go the other way around but I am going to the US this weekend and i dont want to use my data. As we get killed as Canadians. I have internet at my cottage but i want to retrieve my office email off my storm. is there a way of doing this?

    thanks for the help

Nope. Sorry. That would be a wife function. 9530 doesn't have the hardware to support this.

well i am Canadian and i go to the US a lot but i turn off my data as its cost me to much to have on.

but there are emails and other things i would like to use like BB messenger and what not.

is there any way of doing this connecting my phone via data cable to the computer and getting internet to my phone?

LoL read dude...he said it in the first post:

"i dont want to use my data. As we get killed as Canadians. I have internet at my cottage but i want to retrieve my office email off my storm. is there a way of doing this? "

AKA he doesn't want to roam and get charged massive amounts of money when he could passively use the cottage's internet connection instead.

The question OP is, can't you at least check your office e-mail through the regular internet using like a VPN connection or your own work laptop or something that can easily use a LAN connection while at the cottage? I don't think you can do it through the BB like you want to.
