I am wondering if it is possible to install an OS designed for the 9520 on to the 9550. I need to do this in order to have Chinese input (unless someone else knows a way to do this?) enabled on my 9550. Is this something that is possible to do?

I don't think the radio file would work. Maybe the java folders .

You can use the full .741(9520) java with the .713 (9550) radio and it works quite nice.

But to answer your question, you cannot use a full 9520 OS on a 9550. That's why its a 9520 OS and not a 9520 Or 9550 OS.

That's correct. Just replace the 9550 os java folder with the 9520s folder and install. I read the newest .7xx works great

Hey.... please use the Desktop manager... to install the language packs...chinese input is available in 9550....dont mess up your phone... its so simple to have chinese words...like i said...desktop manager... and update your phone with the chinese simplified or tradition packs.
