ive read all the posts on here on HOW TO do it and its just all so confusing... the upgrade part is not really where im messing up, its the backing up the 3rd party apps part im having trouble with. i cant seem to save em to my computer. i wish i had someone here that knew what the **** they were doing, because i sure dont lol
Basically what I do is to follow those steps (when I search I make sure to check the "search hidden, system files" box)
Then, it searches, takes a few minutes, and viola, there is a folder with my pin on it. I take it out of the search screen and drag it to my desktop. Click cancel and you are good to go. It really is pretty easy if you follow CX's steps. Just do it one at a time, and be patient.
In your pin folder you should have an alx file and a list of all of your 3P apps.
