I'm sorry..I wish I had some other advice to give you. I've been fiddling with this thing literally all day. I'm glad to have stumbled over one fix that works so far.
I spoke too soon. It does work, just not reliably. If I can get a station to come in, I dare not turn it off until I'm ready. No telling if I can get it back. I wrote them also. I really hope there's a fix in the works.
iHeart radio is the real deal breaker for me to go back to .517, in fact thats what I did. I listen to it all day long. When I upgraded to .607, I found hardly any stations would play. I went to news/talk, and pressed every station, only to find 1 that worked, same with other categories. Their claiming to have 750+ stations, and I can barely get 2 or 3 that work.
I too emailed iHeart about this problem, with no reply. Its fun changing the OSs around, but after doing it 5 to 6 times in a day, its gets to be a pain. Especially after losing all your settings and emails and such, then to find out upon reboot all these uncaught exceptions pop up, and have to reload again.
My question is, why can't all these OS builders find a way to fix iHeart with .607. I really liked the overall performance of the new released build .607, but its kinda useless to me without my iHeart radio. As far as battery life, I never had real good life, thats why I use a 3300 m/a battery, and keep one on the charger all the time.
If your into news/talk radio, may I suggest KFI am 640 out of Los Angeles. I love this channel, enough to downgrade my OS just to have it............

I updated 2 S2's to 607 from 320 and didn't have any of the issues you complained about, other than iheartradio. google maps search is broken too, btw. other than that...607 is working well and battery life is fanfrickintastic.
I believe that is what I said!!! .607 seemed to be a good OS for my Storm2, but my dealbreaker was the iHeart radio app. I'm glad to see you had the same issue!!!!!!
As far as battery life, in my case, I don't care. I pack a pair of 3300 m/a batteries all the time, so thats not one of my concerns....
I downloaded and installed the new .612 from TANK, ACT 3. I installed the 2.2 version of iHeart, and got a few of my channels back, but not really the ones I wanted. Then I uninstalled iHeart, did a battery pull for 10 minutes, then downloaded the old 1.0 version, and now it works. I get every station I click on. Hopefully this is a fix for the rest of you that enjoy iHeart as much as I do.......
