Just buy it. It's a contract, so as long as you change your mind within 14 days you're golden. I wanted to buy a Bold but on closer inspection the Storm looked more interesting so I bought the Storm, knowing that I can change for a Bold if I don't like the Storm.

Well excited though, it's arriving on Saturday (ordered online)! First BlackBerry too so that's exciting, everyone I know whose ever had one swears by them, so I figured I'd give it a shot!

Ok so this is my situation, I had an update since august and i got the LG Dare, but returned it within 30 days because i saw the Storm and I knew I wanted it. So I want to know, if I dont like the Storm will i be able to do the same thing? Or will I be stuck with it and not be able to return it? Someone help me please!

I did the exact same thing. Hope it's worth it; we'll see tomorrow!

I think that's not very sound advice. Don't buy it; try it. If you buy and decide to return it, you still have to pay for a month of service gone to waste (which is, as many of you know, the most expensive month), restocking fees, and possible headaches when the wireless carrier f**ks you with all sorts of "where the **** did this charge come from?" Further, you'll end up paying another hefty first month charge with your new carrier, if you decide to return the phone.

I would know. I did it once with the curve when it first came out for verizon, then once again with the bold when it came out for AT&T. Just a fickle man, I suppose.

Don't know what contracts in the US are like, but in the UK we have a 14 day period whereby you can cancel without incurring penalty fees (this even applied to the insurance policy I took out earlier this year and subsequently cancelled on finding a better policy elsewhere). TBH I doubt contract law differs that much between the UK and US (must ask lawyer friends), but it's at the very least worth asking the network provider.

On another not, HOLY CHRIST, ever since I have ordered the Storm I have been seeing Blackberrys EVERYWHERE. Not even joking. I have seen over 10 people with them today ALONE. So not cool. A guy even whipped one out at work when I was servicing him (wow that sounded a LOT different in my head - suffice as to say I work part-time in a department store and was cashiering). He was so up himself about it as well. Changed his tune when I mentioned I had ordered the Storm, probably THE smuggest I have felt.

You mean Vodafone, I don't have to deal with at&t or their equally ****e British equivalent O2. Vodafone does both Bold and Storm. If necessary, easy switch.

Also congrats on Obama. I hear that's a big deal across the pond?
