... just to keep dusts from getting out of control underneath the screen

This is the first cellphone ever that I had to VACUUM which I find hilarious and sad at the same time. In the 10+ years that I've been a cellphone user, never have I had to do something like this. Sure I had to wipe down the screen on a few phones but to vacuum? This is definitely a first. lol

Who else vacuums their Storm? c'mon don't be shy.

I can't stand dusts on my stuff and the Storm being glossy black makes it SO much easier to spot them... and they get on my nerves.

Outside of taking the screen off to clean it this is the best solution I've found so far.

    Too funny. lol

How the heck are you gonna vacuum a phone? I am very over protective about my phone but I don't see how it would be possible to vacuum it

Be careful with the vacuuming as it will create major static electricity. If you are using one of them keyboard ones no problem.

this is something that i find to becoming more of an issue in the near future. after noticable dust and little particles in the cracks when the backlight seeps through.

How do you vacuum? does anyone know of any small gadget vacuums or something related? I read somewhere on here before that blowing canned air in the cracks will be worse than leaving them there for they get underneath the screen.

I was thinking that if I would get dust below my screen I would try the vac. I do however pull my pocket out and try to brush all the lint away before I put the storm in my pocket. I guess that's just as bad.

Why wouldn't canned air work instead of a vacuum?

I have not had this issue (phone is a week old) but that would have been my first choice.

I use a small desktop vacuum with one of the smaller and thinner tips (with very small opening and no brush so no static) and go around all 4 sides on the phone. The tip does not touch the phone at all but it works well in sucking out some of the larger dust particles.

I hope the next variation of this phone can have a solution to this... interesting setup.

because you are pushing dusts IN instead of sucking it OUT.
