It will be released the 10th
Im one of the beta testers
Its great.
You'll love it.
I was lucky enough to get it before the leak got plugged. My only question is have either of you found a way to get directions? I looked at the poynt site and it looks like other versions have stuff for getting directions that isn't on the version I have.
Getting directions? It already does that or directions how?

Ok say you search a business, for example I searched Home Depot, because I sub contract for them, and I was going to one I hadn't been to yet. I found it with point, and after I map it, I should be able to get directions. Take a look at poynt's site. you can see, "directions to here" and "directions from here" on other versions, and not on the one I got.
Gives you the phone number to that business, their address and website url in my version...no directions on mine...hope that works as well as this app does though!

Hi there!
Unfortunately, due to a bug that was introduced into BlackBerry Maps sometime late last year when 4.6 was released, we were forced to pull this feature. But fear not, RIM is working towards a resolution, and it will be available soon on maintenance builds of the BlackBerry OS. Rest assured, we will add this feature back in on 4.6 and above as soon as the fix is available. For now, Poynt supports alternative mapping solutions that can be used to find directions.
No directions on mine either. I can map it, that's it. The only way I can see to easily get directions is to use the add to address book option from the Poynt menu and then go to Contacts and then use GPS or directions from there and remember to delete the contact afterwards if it was a one time use.
