i actually find the full qwerty keyboard useless since suretype is better.

do you think there will ever be a way to lock the phone to either portrait or landscape?

NO, The purpose of the phone is to do both. Sorry. Suretype doesn't always work for some words. I like both full and ST.

Agree ... about 50/50 for me. Easier one way for some, easier the other way for others.

I was using Landscape only but after trying Suretype I really like it a lot.

If you have a problem with some words just go into the custom dictionary and add the word. The next time you type the word it will show up.

I rarely use the landscape unless I am trying to let in a password or login to a website I rind th SureType to be rather pleasing to type on. There is a boy of a delay when trying to yupr and as you get faster it seems that the phone is unable to keep with me.

I like Suretype and would love to use it exclusively, but it just isn't capable enough to be used at all times. Why does it too often choose gibberish (such as "yupr") when there is at least one actual word available based on the typed letters?

Hmm. I generally use nothing but landscape. I prefer qwerty and the longer horizontal view. Heck. I'm posting in landscape as we speak.

Yep, I'm a landscape dude all the way. I hated texting on a regular cell phone. Now I text all the time!
