the 5gb limit is not relevant on the NEW BB plans. please check into this yourself and get back to me if I am wrong, but in the new TOS it states that excessive usage of bandwidth can cause the provider to throttle customers to a lower speed to make sure the company is not inconviencing the rest of the users in that area. But there is nothing stating that there is a limit on the TOS anymore, and it is advertised as being "unlimited " data access for email and web browsing for $29.99.

There is still a soft cap of 5GB. Taken directly from their current BB plan page:

Anyone using more than 5 GB per line in a given month is presumed to be using the service in a manner prohibited above, and we reserve the right to immediately terminate the service of any such person without notice

sry, i have 2 ask, iz the OP trying 2 b annoying like this?

Or Is He Trying To Be Annoying By Typing Like This?

OR IS HE TRYING TO BE ANNOYING TYPING LIKE THIS?

Also, please everyone, "your" does not equal "you're"

EDIT. Never mind, OP states he is 15. Not his fault, school's fault.

No, I think it was more along the lines of the OP not knowing what the CAPS lock is.

Let see, how do I put this so they'll understand. The CAPS lock is like when you make the big letters with the crayons.

Have we PROVEN that RIM's AIM uses Data?

I was worried that it uses sms again after reading that it does NOT work with an unlocked storm on at&t or tmobile. So i was thinking well if it integrates with verizon's sms network then that would make sense.

and if it used data then why wouldnt it work? The other rim im programs like yahoo all work with at&t but then again they use data.

YES, Maybe if the Mods deleted a few the threads titled "I was wondering" or "How can I", perhaps people would be a little more specific in the title.

lol, don't worry about it scarred... we like to have fun around here and joke around by picking on the new people. It's childish, but it makes us inferior people feel good inside.

Actually, I take that back. I'm wrong. It uses data for everyone... but you. Yours is special, it is txt based. Sorry... I don't think RIM's going to change that either, looks like you're screwed.
