Hey everybody i got my hands on a BRAND NEW BLACKBERRY STORM I was wondering on the exact steps on how to unlock it for att wireless. I am new to this type of stuff and im a first time Blackberry user. I did many searches and still cant find anything. I would appreciate your help. I Thank you you.

Actually this blog starts with a requirement that states you need an Unlocked Storm to start with.

Some have used services that can be found on this site and in some of those threads. I know from personal experience that unless you paid full retail from BestBuy you need an account with verizon for them to unlock it. Others have also found a leaked RIM tool and with the right files have unlocked it that way.

After you get it unlocked search for unlocked storm on AT&T and there is a very good tutorial by pltaylor that covers it all.

I myself am on T-Mobile.
