i'm already ready to turn off my storm 2 and go back to my tour. anyone know how to do this without having to get on the phone with the verizon tools and have them ask me five times for my number, and password?

If you enter your wireless number when prompted by the system, and then enter your PIN when prompted by the system, you'll never get asked for verification info by the Verizon "tools". Wow, you gave it what, less than 24 hours?

if you have a "My Verizon" account online, you can log in and change the device info right there. Need the ESN and IMEI/MEID. You'll also might need to change that stuff in the BIS site so emails are directed to the correct device (not sure if the change on the vzw website does that too)

thanks, guys; i had tried the initially. it didnt work. wouldn't accept my pin and imei. easy to do with at-t, but not verizon for some reason.

then enter your phone number
then enter your account password

Do a battery pull on the tour and when it boots up do the following

Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Menu Key > Register

Then you're done. If the internet doesn't work on the tour do another battery pull. I switch from my storm to my tour all the time.

A fair evaluation of the bb can't be made after only 24 hours. But if you like the Tour more than stick with it I guess.
