Can someone point me in the direction of a how to on how to set up either a gmail or comcast email account that updates instantly when I get a message. Thx ahead of time for the help!

I highly recommend following the instructions from Gmail's help page regarding setting up your gmail. Go to gmails help page and searcg blackberry. You will then see the article.

Second that. Just make sure whether you want to use IMAP or POP (I recommend IMAP). I followed Google's instructions and was up and running within 5 minutes.

Interestingly enough, it appears that the Storm defaults to IMAP service on Gmail...I did the default setup for Gmail and it's working like a charm.

i also just set up using the default settings and works perfect sweet!!! Never mind I am not receiving messages instantly...

great I was wondering this. Trying to get as much info as I can so setting up my storm won't be too difficult when I finally get it (hopefully sooner than 12/5).

**** it is indeed sending me a copy of my emails i send and i cant get into the site to set up a filter wth!!!
