I am ready to upgrade my OS... But, I had been using an application and then upgraded the version of the program which jacked up the app and removed several features. I tried removing the app and installing the old version but it didn't help. I think there is something saved somewhere not getting removed with the uninstall.

I guess what I'm saying is that I want to wipe the whole thing, upgrade the OS and then only restore my contacts, calendar and theme.

I'm sure this has been answered before... I tried many different searches, I may just not be using the right search words. I'm sorry if this is a repeat. I tried!

    Thank you for your help!

A normal backup, wipe, and restore is what you want. Backups only save your personal information. If you want to backup 3rd party apps, there's a procedure to do so. I don't know if a backup will restore a theme or not. I only use one of the built-in themes.
