My Storm2 Has ALWAYS taken longer than 10 minutes per battery pull, Am I doing something wrong?
That seems to be a bit long. Mine takes about 4 minutes.
Mine's usually about 4 minutes. It just got done as I'm typing this - I swapped the battery, poured myself a cup of coffee, grabbed the netbook and turned it on; opened a browser, logged into google, switched to google reader, saw this post, and as I typed the first line of this reply I was getting messages inbound on my S2.
Not saying 4 minutes is acceptable, it's complete crap compared to my 8130 with OS4.5 and its ~2 minute boot. And a far cry from friends' Android devices that seem almost instant-on when they reboot. I have hopes that QNX will improve that, based on its architecture it should; personally I'm not waiting for it unless they unveil a "wow" device before fall.
Mine is 15 minutes, AT LEAST.
its kinda ridiculous
(I think it depends on the apps and stuff you have installed though, not sure... but still, extremely ridiculous)
definatly app/data related, when I first got the 9550 if was in the 4 mins range, by the end of the year it was about 7 or 8 mins, and after a complete wipe before I sold it I was back down to 4 mins.

That's ridiculously high. I'd have taken it to a store and asked them to exorcize it.

Mine's about 6.5 OR 7. I have no idea why, but that's about 5 minutes longer than my S1's took, and the apps and such are pretty much the same.
On the bright side, I don't have to reboot the S2 very often.
Mine is about 6 minutes. The S1 this replaced rebooted in 2 minutes and it had about ad many apps so I don't get the long boot time. At all. My wifes iphone reboots in less than a minute and I hear droids are quicker so my question to RIM is what the f***?

6-8 for me
S2 and 4-5 min for me. OS .1015
Yeah I've been there before as well. Not a good feeling. Does anyone know what apps in particular could be causing this? Is it mainly 3rd party or could it be native? I'm running the lastest OS (.1015) by the way, but the OS i run has never mattered
It's never mattered on my device either. But narrowing it down could be somewhat difficult, anything from a setting to a difference of usage habits could be suspect.
