i do have one question about this procedure. All previous beta os's are still listed under programs to delete on my laptop. Can i just delete .114 or do i have to delete all of them.. If I do not have to delete all of them can't i just reload it without downloading it again? Thanks.

I would recommend deleting all the OSes save the one you want to load on your storm.

I followed all the steps above including the clean wipe before trying to downgrade the os to .75 from .100
and now it says there is no software update us required for this device. Then I clicked the options and I get the same message as above. Need help.

Try going to c> program files> common files> research in motion > app loader : loader.exe file to install the OS onto your storm.

BTW, can you please remove the OP quote from your post? Takes up A LOT of unnecessary space and makes reading the thread a bit hard. Thanks much and let us know how you fare!

This is an amazzzzing thread - id highly reccomend doing a picture "how to" for uploading a leak... seeing as I have severe problems following written instructions, bricked my phone, and had to use this thread to save my life hahah.

worked fine for me. I downgraded my old storm from 113, JL wiped it, DL .75, installed .75 on my laptop, loaded it w/ the loader app. viola....storm back to stock and ready to send back to vzw.

Nope tho thats what most people do. You can downgrade, or upgrade for that matter, to any other OS than the one you have using these exact steps.

well i used the link u had for .114 i found major issues after putting it on computer and phone... with use on and a headset u lose the number keyboard.. so lets say leaving a voice mail or automated system is not going to happen.... how the f can i go back... my computer no longer see my blackberry via usb.. i already tryed to remove the .114 and it still wont work and i also tryed to reinstall usb drivers but it says ones on computer are newer and wont install older ones..

Thanks a bunch! I just purchased a Storm and it was preloaded with v .114. It had the keyboard glitch where you can't use your keypad while in a call.

This was my first time doing anything to my phone and I had no problems!

You need to go into your applications and uninstall .114, then install .75.

I had 4.7.0.148 everything was working perfect Until I went to 151.
Now my service books are not working so no internet

I want to downgrade back to my original back up 148 how do I do that ?
