You have to have the video on the lowest resolution or it wont send. By default it's set on the highest, but anything over 320x240 wont send.

I don't know if it's a length limit as much as it is a file size limit. Once the file gets too large, it would take way too long to send via mms. Verizon tries to limit bandwidth as much as possible so they limit the filesize on which you can send videos.

You can't MMS just any video. If the video on the phone was not shot in MMS mode (Video camera -> Menu -> Options -> Video Format (MMS Mode)), then it probably won't send via MMS. The data cap is very small. The MMS 3gp format is only 176x144. My old phones stopped recording after 15 seconds. The Storm seems to auto-stop after 22.

If your video is 320x240 and longer than about 8 (guessimated) seconds, I doubt it will send via MMS.

Video Camera > Menu Key > Options > Video Format >

    Select MMS Mode (176 x 144)

    Menu Key > Save

    There you go enjoy

If you send to email then I have used the highest resolution and been able to send videos around 1-2 minutes long. I assume there is a limit to email too but apparently it's much higher than MMS.
