will my storm tell me? Or do I have to find out on the Internet some how?
As of right now, you have to check manually if there is an update. Most of the applications I use have a Check for Update feature either in the menu or under the about section. Also, if the application has an OTA version, you can just type that address in and see if a newer version is available. Later this year we should see the real App Center released. The App Center should tell you if an update is available and allow you to download the update from within.
