Ok quick question someone please educate me, Rosstein83 educated me earlier but still not sure I understand why it was the case. Dont doubt anything at all just want to know the logic behind it, curiousity got the best of me.
You want the larger number, i.e -60dB is better than a -80dB
so the closer to + numbers you can get the better.

    Thanks

I am not positive but I believe that the closer you get to "0" the better your strength. At least that is what appears to be the case for me...anybody know anything better?

A more positive number is better (the closer you get to 0)...Some reference I found, gets pretty technical but it works.

How to read signal strength in dbm's - WiFi-Forum - Wi-Fi Discussion Forum

    You welcome!
this is more relevant to cell phones:

So I just did this and it worked great, but its hard to read the numbers. Is there anyway to change the size or font type?

Let me get this straight. From the main screen, hit the BB button and keyboard option should come up? Not on my phone it doesn't.
