Internet explorer 6?
If yes, the control panel, add/remove programs, remove IE7. It will automatically revert back to IE6 once that is done.

When people are referring to Windows 7, they are talking about the Windows Operating System (OS). For example....Windows XP, Windows Vista.
You are fine with Internet Explorer 7.
Windows 7 is a beta OS that Microsoft is offering and some people have been having troubles with the Storm .86 upgrade on it.

To remove IE7 you have ti remove the app via control Panel AND all the updates for it! I found that out the hard way once

Do not remove IE 7 from your machine unless you are ready to redo you entire machine. The sticky is refering to Windows 7, a new OS by MS, not IE 7
