I tried to find the options, but I can not find it. I want to back up all of my contacts just in case for another phone, not one by one, in one step as i have over 150+ contacts.

EDIT: I have my current contacts sync with Outlook, but in case I want to move to a simple phone which doesn't sync with PC, that's when I want to have contact backup.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks.

I would like to know how to do this too. My current SIM holds 200 max contacts, but I want to move all my blackberry contacts onto the SIM in one go. I know you can do it 1 by 1 but this is not practical.

Use DM and Outlook - it's easier. The 9530's SIM is only for use on international GSM networks.

dunno if it matters with OS (i hv 109, if it does matter)
neways here is how: (it is not under options, its under contacts)

contacts > bb menu > sim phone book > bb menu > copy all to contacts

The OS must matter.... I am still running .75 and those options are just not there on my phone...

They are there on .75. When you open 'contacts', highlight but don't press 'add contact'. Then press bb menu and you will see SIM Phone Book.

OK< figured out a few things.... first off, Contacts via the dial screen and Contacts via the Contacts icon are not the same... the "add contact" is only available in the latter...

But also, only contacts that have single phone numbers associated with them are able to be moved to the sim card. Most of my contacts have multiple numbers as well as e-mail addys and other info, so they will not copy over to the sim card.

Thanks for the "how to" though, greatly appreciated!
