how do i disable the mute button

hi guys so i just got a storm and am running it unlocked on att. well i like me bold much better cause its faster. so instead of get rid of the storm i'd like to use it like an ipod touch. now im skateboarding with it and sometimes i click the toggle mute button. is there any way to disable this

Nope the hard buttons cannot be disabled...
