I always keep my phone on vibrate but I would like to disable the vibrate completely when I get an email alert. I do not want the phone to vibrate, i just want the alert icon to show up. The only time I want the phone to vibrate is on a text message or phone call, not an email.
I have went into the sounds menu and turned off vibrate for all emails and BB message alerts but the phone still vibrates when I receive an email.
this will sound like such a noob question. i have had three blackberry's and always just used the standard ringtones and alerts that are included with the phone.
what will creating custom profiles allow me to do? will it allow me to chose the number of times it rings an alerts as well?
