Helping a friend. When typing numbers in a email address bar he hits the number button, presses a number then it changes back to letters. Question is how to keep the numbers on till he's done without it switching back to letters and having to push the num button everytime for the numbers.

When he presses the number button tell him to keep it depressed a couple of seconds and then it'll lock to the number keyboard. When he's done, press it again to go back to letters.
