Just got a call from my Verizon saleslady to say my phone will be delivered by 7pm tomorrow! FedEx normally shows up around 10:30 here... so I figure it'll be here by lunch. Sweeeet! I feel like that little kid on the Disney commercial that says "I'm too excited to sleep!". How goofy for a 40-something y/o Systems Engineer? LOL!

Friday is a great day to get it on. You can play with it (the storm that is) all weekend and not worry about missing sleep or going to work.

Well good thing you are an old programmer / system engineer as am I. I thought my days of loading OSes and applications was over. With this phone you get to do it weekly or even more often. Some on purpose and some not on purpose. It can be a real hassel.

It is fun but I definately would not reccommend this phone for a non tech type person. My wife would have truned it back in on day 2. Just too many issues with it. No way would she be able to do an update or load apps.

I see it as a challenge but I am starting to get tired or it after owning it for 3 weeks and putting so much time into it.

Not much is flawless with it. Lots of little things what just have issues like hangs, app installs, backups, OS installs, updates, video camera, camera, vidio playback, video record, typing, clicking, phone, browser, GPS, navigator, music, this list goes on.

Most people would really get upset with it. Only the tech type people see it as a chalenge and hang in there and try to fix it or wait for another update.

Maybe in a few months it will be ready for the masses.....Then we can all like it a lot better.

Right now I feel that they should have paid us $200 or $499 to use the phone. Well they did pay me $100 as I won one of the $100 hunt rewards but still. They should have help this phone back untill more of the issues were fixed.
