Is there a way to hide/relocate the clock/status bar at the top of the home screen to allow full viewing of the theme image?
I attempted to perform a search, but did not find a solution.

it would be a theme thing, you can try asking in the theme forums and see what the devs say there, but there is no setting/option on the device to manipulate this, sorry.

The only way it can be done is when a theme is made. There's options when the home screen is designed to remove those items.
