I went to the corporate store today and it was a joke. They got 6 in and I was 50 in line so I left. I went to an out of the way authrized dealer and they had them in stock. I am on a family plan with my wife, sharing 600min. At the Corporate store, they said that I would just be able to add the $29.99 blackberry internet and e-mail plan and I would be good to go. At the other store, they said that the deal for $199 is I have to be on a Nationwide E-mail account, which means no family deal. So who is correct?
Yes. It's the standard add-on Blackberry plan for Unlimited Internet and E-mail. They said the $199 special is only fro starting a new Nationwide E-mail plan. I want to stay on my current famlity plan.
We stayed with our family plan, which we had to renew for two years, changed a line from a RAZR to the Storm, and added the $29.99 blackberry e-mail (which is also unlimited web browsing)
Everyone I've spoken with said that's a qualifying e-mail plan (the $29.99 add on plan that is)
Apparently they can do it either way. I went in with the ACII plan ($39.99 for 450 min). They added the Blackberry Broadband Unlimited Data for $44.99.
I got home, called CS and told them I wanted to switch to the Nationwide Email Blackberry plan (with unlimited data) for $79.99. They did it and I'm good to go. Plus, now I'm in the $100 tier for my next New Every 2. Can't beat that.
Careful when the sales reps say, "Do you want all of the features on your Storm unlocked?" When I replied, "All except VZ Navigator" I got slammed with $15.00 BBA Connect (tethering) and $15 Verizon Rhapsody subscription. I didn't care since I knew I would be calling CS when I got home to remove them.
Yeah all I want to do is stay with my Famliy 600min plan and add the $30mo blackberry service. Instead if what the one store says is true, I will have to shell out almost $30 more a month on top of that.

If they aren't helping you, I'd call telesales or cs (*611). They were the ones that set everything up for us. ($29.99 on top of our family share plan)
