I am using my sim card from tmobile.
The original phone the sim card was in was a G1 and i like the blackberry better than that so i switched it.
the plan has web and data for the g1 unlimted.
I followed the instructions for the service books and everything and it went well. i got the internet working and the mms.
then all of a sudden the wap browser and the original browser went away when i took out the sim card once. i know you can get them back by that 1 procedure (menu options advanced host routing table menu register now)
i did that but i dont think it works because the browser didnt come back.
Any help?
p.s. i cant get the email to work either.
is it because my plan is for the tmobile g1 phone?

I'm pretty sure you have to have a bb plan for it to work correctly.
I think the bb plan will work for other phones but other plans won't work for the bb.

okay ive been trying anyway i can just to get EDGE but it all lies in my plan right?

Yeah, you'll need the bb plan for it to work correctly. Should also be same price just a bit different.
