I have one heck of a time getting my storm to talk to the desktop software over bluetooth.
My Dell xps1330 has a bluetooth controller that has drivers installed. I was able to mate my phone and pc just fine. However when I go in the BB desktop software it continually asks me if I would l ike to connect to my phone over bluetooth. I say yes it just keeps coming back. It does this about 5-10 times before finally connecting.
I also have unknown bluetooth periferal in device manager that I never had before I can't seem to find drivers for it. Anyone know what this is? Is it drivers for the phone or something? I know its not drivers for my bluetooth controller as that was running fine long before I got this phone with bluetooth devices.
Yes the bluetooth peripherals thing is normal I believe. I run vista, and have the same two things, but never have had to get drivers for them, so I told it to ignore them.
As to the Bluetooth, have you tried re-pairing the two? Double check the BT security settings on the device?
