I just deleted a few applications from my phone (VCast, BBM, and VVM) per the thread saying it would help battery life. Well, I just went to sent a text message and my icon is gone. I've searched my phone and can't figure out where to go so I can text. Someone help

go to your home screen -> BB key -> show all and see if it somehow got hidden. If not you probably accidentally just deleted the program i would load up desktop manager and go to the app loader and see if you can re-install it from there

I'll try that, if I can figure it out. I've been playing with my phone and the only way I can seem to access SMS/MMS messages is going into messages (the one with ALL of your messages), then clicking the BB key, going to folders, then accessing the messages. It's a hassle and ridiculous

Go into the messages folder>Options>General Options> and separate sms and email boxes.

thanks alot Peter (and you too Crucial), reloading the BBM to my phone got me the icon back!
