I recently updated my OS to .148 and the new mail indicator won't go away....you know...the little red star by the envelope. I tried opening messsages and sms/mms and "marking prior opened." I even tried deleting all messages and it still shows that I have twenty-five messages with the little red star. Any ideas?

Well idk about .148 but did u try messages > menu > view folder > check each?

I tried the battery pull...to no avail...I also tried transfigured's suggestion...nada

Nevermind guys...sorry for all that...I had my folder containing my actual e-mails hidden...I opened it and "marked prior opened" and the indicator went away...Thanks for the help!
