I've had a lot of problems with the Vista Enterprise OS, especially with software compatibility after "upgrading" from XP pro. I seem to find that a lot of older software is totally useless on Vista (games, Soundcard, Post-it notes ect). Make sure you have the latest and most up to date install package for the Desktop Manager. Also, check your USB drivers and make sure they're all set so your computer can recognize your BB. You never know what can be wrong with Vista!

    Good Luck with your install.

I had the same problem with the disk and vista. I called tech support at verizon and they gave me a link to there website to download blackberry manager directly from there. I don't remember the corect URL but I will try and find it if all else fails call Verizon and they will give it to you. It worked great for me.

I am running Vista ultimate and had no issues, the thing to keep in mind though is that you must run the setup.exe file as an administrator...
To do that just use exploder to navigate to the setup.exe file on the disk then right click and select "run as administrator" that should resolve your issue...
