Ok since downloading .607 and the bluetooth problems that go along with it I was wondering if I can go back to the previous version which I believe is .320. Or a version of software on crackberry that you can recommend. If so how can I go about going back to a different version? I have never done that. Thanks for the help.

Yes. Uninstall the .607 version from your computer.
Then re-install the version you wish to switch too.
It should ask you if you want to downgrade.

Don't go back to 320, look for a working link to 451. I haven't encountered the BT problems since going to 607 two days ago. But if I do have said problem when connecting to my nuvi, I am rolling back to 451.

Thanks. Why not 320? Just curious. What's up with the 451? Better than 320 I take it?

I actually had NO problems with .320 (Caveat: I did get a replacement S2 due to the sticking key problems. There appears to be both a hardware fix and a software fix, so if you have the upgraded hardware version, 320 will work fine, if not, you need something newer (.517, I believe?) which nets the same improved result.

.607 really bites, especially in bluetooth. If I'm driving, I can pretty much give up using my BT because I can't hear anyone. I'm thinking of going back to .320 myself, if VZW doesn't come out with a fix SOON.

I went with .517. Seems to work best for me.

517 seems really slow compared to 607 on my phone. Its odd because i think the 517 was a better build with fewer issues

.320 also did not have pop up keys and the homescreen icons didn't update. If you don't care about the popups or the icons, then .320 was fine.

Browsing is better, pop-up keys are the 2 that jump out to the forefront of my mind. You can PM me for a link to 451 if you can find one.

Another good point. I use meterberry, and the home screen icon didn't function. So ugrading was a must.

I too an thinking of downgrading if we don't get a leak sometime soon. The keyboard issues are ever present, no matter what hybrid I install, it seems. Not to mention, the volume fading on the media player is driving me nuts. Was that present on .451?

Does it make a difference what software I use if its a Storm 2 from Verizon?

No it doesn't matter what software you use. If its a 9550 OS it will work.

Downgrading by Mac isn't something I have experience with. My advice is to search the forums.
Undoubtedly, someone has already asked, and I'm sure there are step by step instructions.

I did not notice any issues with the media player under 451.
