Are you storing all media to the card or device?

What's the exact error message you get? Have you tried a battery pull?

Go to Options > Memory and tell us what it shows under Application Memory and Device Memory

Media storage on the phone has it's own memory seperate from the Application Memory.

Apps can't go to the memory card, only media (music, video, pictures, docs, etc). Look up the application Quickpull from here: http://go.mobihand.com/?op=dlmh&pd=22989&l=1&ps=102 (copied from the OTA thread in the 3rd party app forum) if you want to reset the device without a battery pull.

I have seen a free app called log maid which is supposed to really help free up application memory. I guess it clears your even log every hour and some people say that it has really sped up thier Storm. Cant say this from personal experience though because I have not read enough about it to try it. Sees kind of weird that people would install another app to free up application memory. Just a suggestion

Here is the OTA for Quickpull, and a lot more.

Go to it on your Storm and download it.
