Help! I hooked my new Storm up to Desktop Manager 4.7 to import my contacts, calendar, etc. It "update" my phone with an OLD version of the Storm OS!

My Storm now has v4.7.0.65 (Platform 4.0.0.76)

What the heck! HELP ME!

Can you load the Vodaphone software and just remove the Vendor.xml file?

Did you all also lose many applications? Blackberry maps, Messenger, Docs to go... everything is GONE on my Storm. This SUCKS.

in the desktop manager it has a thing that says something to the affect of "click here to keep your os the os in this software is older than the os currently on the device. just make sure you read carefully

yea, same here. with syncing up. Tried to just sync with my BB Desktop Software v4.5 but that didnt work. Had to uninstall 4.5 and used the CD to install 4.7 but still no luck. Been wokring on this for a while now. kinda getting tired of it.

Not giving up just yet, just getting tired of working on this issue. Anyone?

Do the employees at Verizon use desktop manager to transfer your contacts? I got it just now and they transferred my contacts from my LG, so did this affect me also?
