    I have a question for you. I appreciate any and all help you can provide in this. These are the phone specs. Application Version: v4.7.0.109
    Platform Version: 4.0.0.136

    I have T-Mobile and am using Generic Service Books. Internet Browser does work but when I attempt to use an application (i.e. Opera, Slacker, GPS etc) EDGE dies down to edge.

    I have attempted to run a Diagnostic and it ends quickly with: Radio Data Activation: NO. Everything else either says unknown or Abort. (See Below)

    I purchased the phone unlocked and with the OS version as is. I have no idea what’s the problem. Any Ideas/Suggestions?

    just a wild hunch:
    did you open your Manage Connections to see if somehow your wireless network had been turned off? The storm will automatically shut off its wireless connection if you let your battery drain all the way down.

    yester18- I remember doing this step, BUT I will redo this step. CAN�T HURT.

    JRSCCivic98- I am unaware if it is Blacklisted, but if it is, wouldn�t that effect me if I was a Verizon customer? I am currently using the phone on T-Mobile. Would I be affected? And I purchased the phone on EBay with no mention if it was blacklisted.

    motrv8d- I have a full battery at the moment and reran the test and returns the same. I also see that I have phone service (Receiving and making calls)

    Here is an update (Not good news)! I have completed the Daemon step with no luck. I then updated OS to .113 then I redid the internet browser with CrackUtil and the Generic Service books for storm. I continue with the same problem.

    WHATS WORKING: Internet is present (EDGE) and Browser works.

    WHATS NOT WORKING: Any application that needs the internet. Prior to me starting any application I see "EDGE" once the application begins, it instantly shows "edge". Since the upgrade 113 I have re-ran Diagnostics and still have the original problem where radio activation shows none and everything else aborts. No good news has come from upgrading OS, Redoing Service books along with DAEMON. Any there other suggestions out there?

    Update -No Good News-

    After much more research I found that people with T-Mobile was having success with OS 144 hybrid (Radio 90). I just did the upgrade with little or no betterment on the phones behalf.

    It strikes me that NO ONE has had this issue or is reluctant in specifying how they got through this. Oh well I will keep posting my tries and results for future folks.

    It looks like no Data , Have you tried calling T-Mobile? What symbols you see at top by service indicator?

    I have tried calling T-Mobile and they reset there towers to try to quick fix the issue. They do see me on there towers though.

    Where would I find service inidcator

    Should be at the top right hand corner at least it is on Verizon. mine shows a 1XEV is what i have. lol you might even want to try *22899 to update phone, if you havent tried already.

    Also go to OPTIONS=>MOBILE NETWORK and type what you have in there. Mine shows:

    Data Services - ON
    Network Selection - AUTOMATIC
    NETWORK TECHNOLOGY - 1XEV

    Honestly, never heard of anything like that for Tmo. Hmm...I am calling Tmo atm, see what goof I get this time. meanwhile I'm looking for some update , roaming setting on BB
